Sarah, a Public Outreach Coordinator with a small non-profit in Sacramento, lets out a heavy sigh.  “I feel so lost.” she mumbles.  “We’ve spent the last two years working at this.  It’s hard to keep perspective.”

Bill, Vice President of Marketing at a national media organization, recalls how long a road it’s been.  “We were pretty upset when MySpace crapped out.”  he says, spinning in his Aeron to face the low afternoon sun.  Outside, a man manicures the grounds encircling a Koi pond.  “We spent a lot of resources chasing that one.  But people just couldn’t stop spamming fake porn profiles.  It ruined it for everybody.” Continue reading
