In November of 2010 I went backpacking in S.E. Asia and recorded some video underwater with my Panasonic TF2, rated to a depth of 10M.
I soon realized the camera was shooting in the AVCHD format, and the software I was using at the time wasn’t able to recognize it. After shooting this video I switched to recording in .MOV format. Now, almost two years later, I’ve been able to finally pull the video off my memory card thanks to the new iMovie.
A few weeks after shooting this event, while diving in the Philippines, I took the camera down past 14M, hoping for the best, and drowned the camera. Oops.
